Been in the area for a little over a year realized I’ve been wasting my time going to Yanni’s. I can’t believe I haven’t tried this place yet so I did. I got the American sandwich for $13. I have to say this is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Everything is fresh. The proportion size is amazing. I loved the toasted almond tiramisu!
I live near by and have gotten sandwiches for years. I tried the stuffed spinach and potato bread a few days ago. I was shocked! The taste, the bread texture, it brought me right back to a memory of a little grinder shop in Hartford. It was absolutely delicious! This place is not fancy but the food is made with love. I can always go here for a dinner for my family on a busy night. It’s a little gem in newington.
