Went there for the first time to celebrate a family member's birthday. We were all very happy with the food! High quality, fresh and very well done. As first-timers, we decided to sample everything, so we ordered the mezza platter and the grill platter, as well as the lahmacun and the fried liver. Everything was perfect
Went to this restaurant for the first time today on a whim and we are SO happy we did. The food was phenomenal, the prices were appropriate and the portions were perfect. The food was well balanced, well done, and well executed. The interior of the restaurant was clean, not too quiet nor too loud, and had a wonderful atmosphere with tasteful decorations. I drive from Prairieville to Materie to dine for a good traditional turkish food. I am turkish and Istanbul Grill is as close to as it gets like eating in turkey. I drove and dined in many states and Istanbul Grille Chef is one of the best !
The seating is too cramped in and food was not good. They changed the humus, it was smooth and creamy before. Now the texture of the humus is gritty and it looks like oatmeal. I use to rave about this and recommend it now I'm like nope. Not again.
