I've been coming here since before they moved to Orange Street and I got to say I enjoyed the menu more before they moved. Maybe it's just nostalgia but I thought the tonkotsu broth was richer and the breading on kara age it too thick for me now. I miss my chashumen!!! Gyoza and takoyaki are perfect though and I fallen in love with the mayu black garlic tonkotsu. The restaurant side is a bit chilly so consider bringing a jacket or sweatshirt. Looking forward to checking out the hifi lounge!
I probably had the worst experience I’ve ever had waiting for a table. 2 people from our party arrived at 6pm and advised the hostess we had a party of 7 that would be arriving shortly. At 6:30 the entire party arrived and were told the wait would be 30 min to 45 min. We were a group of 7 and she sat about 25 people who arrived after us. She could put two tables together to seat us. Obviously doesn’t know what she is doing we waited in total 2 hours and decided to leave after she sat all those people front of us. She was rude.
Simply one of the best spots Lancaster, PA has to offer. Rarely does food, confidence, and passion come together like they do at Issei Noodle. The menu is crafted for casual diners and adventurous foodies alike. The noodles are made in-house and the ingredients are fresh. Truly impeccable - compliments to the Chef!
Delicious. Stopped by for a late lunch on Saturday, our group of three was immediately seated. We enjoyed our food, I got the Pork Katsu and Rice, very tasty. Would come by again.
