I had a sales rep come to my door and tell me that it was free and that I would be getting money back from the company because of government subsidies. Turns out, that was a lie! This company is a scam and doesn't even produce that much.

Arcadia billed me for a non-existent account that I never opened with them. This is a thoroughbred scam.

I do not recommend Arcadia. Having my Xcel account with Arcadia meant that I had no ability to see anything about my energy account with Xcel. After a couple of years, Arcadia pushed my account onto a different solar provider. That was poorly communicated to me and ultimately caused me to cancel my account with Arcadia. After I canceled, the company didn’t transfer my account back to Xcel. That meant that I never got my power bills for months. I was told by Sherita on 4/24/24 that there was no need to call Xcel to cancel service (I specifically asked “do I need to call Xcel to cancel with them?”); I had been paying through Arcadia for three years so THEY would call to cancel my service. I got a bill from Xcel last week for $103.31 because service was not cancelled until June.
