Completely wasted my time and energy… This type of institution should be scrutinised and should not exist inside the mental health industry. Always beware of this clinic (including the institution that runs it).

Was told my issues are "too complex" and they wouldn't be able to provide me with suitable care. One of the only free services in Victoria I have found, and they reject people who have gone through severe trauma. Basically, if you have severe complex trauma you have to pay a registered psychologist out of pocket or suffer. Telling the intake team your trauma only for them to reject you is disappointing and hope shattering. Bad communication between the intake crew and the reception to get an NDIS client of mine enrolled it's taken three weeks and even when they say they will call him there's another delay. There's not really any excuse to this breakdown of communication when you are attempting to deliver a high level of service to a vulnerable population. It's taken two calls weekly so far and sending the referral twice and it still hasn't gotten straightened out between intake and getting him the actual appointment. Abysmal. This place is full of angels. Psych Harry is the perfect blend of knowledgeable and professional while providing genuine empathy and care. Admin staff are amazing, going above and beyond for patients. The culture of isn feels altruistic rather than money making. Dr Noonan also incredibly skilled at EMDR/trauma recovery. Best clinic I’ve ever worked with.
