Amazing stay at the islander!
Manager Ryan Phillips was fat shaming a patron, pretty bad
This is a really beautiful resort with great views and vibes all around. Despite it being upscale, it's warm and inviting. As a Wedding and Event DJ in Islamorada, Key Largo, Key West, Miami, and South Florida, I really appreciate the kind hospitality I received from Jennifer, Ana, and the entire banquet team! I've been here several times as DJ, and it's always been a great experience! Highly recommend!!
Went here for our honeymoon. Service was average at best. Mexico had better/more motivated wait staff. Rooms were nice, clean. Location was beautiful and very close to the ocean. There are many other off-resort options for eating we chose because a simple Ceasar salad on resort costs $36 LOL. Overpriced. I’d recommend Mangrove Mike’s or Laurelai’s for breakfast and we really enjoyed Marker 88 and Square Grouper for dinner.
This was one of those stays that just felt easy and good from start to finish. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable (we loved having a patio), and the property itself is beautiful. The gardens are lush, the pools are calm and relaxing, and the whole atmosphere feels peaceful rather than crowded. What really sets this place apart is how much is included.
