I ordered wool online from Island Wools mainly because I was having a heck of a time finding one color that was out of stock every where else. I was so delighted by their prompt customer service and quick shipping! I received my wool right on time for a blizzard (ahem, KNIT DAY)! I will definitely order from them again.
Best yarn store in my humble opinion! We live on Orcas and often take the ferry over to Friday Harbor to get more fabulous yarn. Libby is especially helpful and friendly, and has a great selection. ❤️❤️❤️

Libby is super-knowledgeable and friendly. Island Wools is a paradise haven for knitters like me. When I can't make it to San Juan, I order from their website, and it arrives in just a couple of days.
They not only sent my yarn to Pittsburgh, but when it came it was in a very nice bag they sent me for free. Great service!
There isn't anything I don't love about this store. The selection, the atmosphere & the energy. Joy lives here and it isn't in the vibrancy of the yarn, it's Julie and Libby and the cuddle whore on floor - it's delightful from front to back. Thank you for adding so much love and light to a corner of this world. Keep doing beautiful things, the world is better for your work! Edit: because words are hard...
I love this yarn shop! It has a wonderful selection of beautiful yarns and a very friendly and helpful staff. It's well worth a visit.
