I brought my Volkswagen Tiguan to Mr. Gurney at Island Woods Auto with the impression that I had severe engine damage, and may likely have to sell it to a salvage yard. After extensively researching the issue, he was able to diagnose the source of the problem, receive the necessary part, and install it, in time for me to be able to pick up the vehicle that same day before he closed. Exhaust repair and coolant leak plus question of transmission leak was done quickly and reasonably. I recommend Mike's work and will return.
I recently brought my 1989 Toyota Camry AllTrac LE to this shop by a recommendation from a friend, they worked with me every step of the way making sure I was well informed with everything that was going on with my car. When I had an issue with my car after bringing it to them the first time (issue was not caused by any of the work they had done) they were quick to diagnose the issue and were able to fix it and get it back on the road for me. Mike at Island woods performance is top notch whether you need minor or major repairs he'll get it done. And get it done right. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. If I could give more stars I would.
