Perfect location on the shore of Lake Superior! Very comfortable & quiet. This lodging is only 1 mile from Bayfield. The hosts were so friendly & kind & their attention to detail & decor was amazing. I enjoyed the Grand Tour Apostle Island Cruise & the ferry to Madeline Island to explore there. Hiking to several waterfalls near the lodging was fun with the gorgeous Fall colors Oct. 9-16. Our stay at Island View Lodge exceeded our expectations! The view from our deck was so beautiful. There were eagles flying overhead everyday. The lodge is close to Bayfield, but far enough outside of town to be in a private setting. We will definitely be back!

Island View Lodge is a beautiful place, tucked into the woods just outside of Bayfield.. after two visits, it has become a favorite place! The grounds and gardens are beautiful.. The views are spectacular.. and it is so peaceful.. Jim and Pearl do the most amazing job and are so welcoming! I would never stay anywhere else and look forward to many more visits!
