Our Alaskan Malamute has had ongoing and severe skin issues. Over numerous visits, the typical treatment approach remained the same: rounds of antibiotics, steroids, and medicated baths. Despite repeated appointments, no long-term solution was offered, and the underlying issue remained unresolved. Staff even began to make light-hearted comments about how often we were there, which felt dismissive over time. Eventually, we saw a newly graduated doctor. I needed to get my dog in to see the Vet. They got me in within the hour and their staff was great to deal with. Thanks Dr. Campbell for being thorough with Jax. Great experience all around!

On Wednesday evening my 11 month old Golden Retriever began taking seizures and I rushed her in to Island Veterinary Hospital, where I've been taking her since I got her. The staff there did everything for Lucy that they could have, but she tragically passed. The staff were incredible with the care they provided Lucy as well as how they treated us, giving us an examination room to say our goodbyes in and even letting us use the room for as long as we needed with family coming from New Waterford.
