One question: do you see any women, locals or newbie triathletes as reviewers? No... that's because this place does not treat newbies, locals or women nicely. For me - a new female triathlete - service was HORRIBLE. Going off a friend's rec, dropped off my bike for a tire change and tune-up, service was promised to be done in 4 days (for a tire change and tuneup? cmon) because they were apparently too busy... then when I went to pick up my bike, they hadn't even started working on it! Finally a triathlon store that knows triathletes – I had a great experience at this store. I am new to the world of triathlons but man am I a Trigeek! Those guys and girl (there was a woman working that seemed to know a bit more than the guys) set me up for my first triathlon. I really did not feel like they were trying to "sell" me stuff, but felt like I was talking to a workout partner or something like that. Super cool staff and I think they all rode their bikes to work that day too. I like 'em!

Horrible Mechanics – I went to this bike shop for a simple bar tape installation and tune up. I chose the Fizk Bargel and Tape. That cost around $30. Then I was charged 15 dollars labor. Which is reasonable. Later on I picked up my bike and the job was done horribly. The worse job I have ever seen. When I later re did the tape the gels were put on the wrong way! You would think bike professionals would at least read the instructions. The tuneup was also done wrong .. the shifting was still off and the brakes were done way to... read more
