The transmission on my Ford Fusion failed and I called John @ Island Transmission. He was very honest and provided a great price. The replacement was professional and the car has been running great. I highly recommend you give John a call if you have car issues.
My transmission died on me after only 230,000 miles. John at Island Transmission gave me options, for price and delivery. John is knowledgeable about transmissions and he was recommended to me by another of John's customers. I went with a longer wait to get a better transmission. He recommended a towing company that was reasonable as well. John was able to get me back on the road a day earlier then he originally thought. I am impressed.
We take all our cars here. John services our BMWs, Toyotas, and my husband's Ford F-150. Always good work, a great price, and doesn't do work unless you need it. He found and replaced a transmission on our daughter's Carolla in the middle of Covid, when parts were really hard to find. We've been loyal customers ever since. It's a blessing to find a mechanic that you can trust. Would highly recommend.
If I could leave a 0/5 I would!!! Very sketchy and unprofessional - would not recommend to anyone.
