We stayed in Island Tower #2401 in March 2025 and it was wonderful! We're long-time renters (over 20 years) in Gulf Shores, and Island Tower is our favorite building. This particular unit was very clean and well-stocked. We've stayed in this until before but the recent upgrades to the entire apartment were a bonus. The kitchen and bathrooms are bright and modern with good storage. Excellent views, too! We highly recommend the building and this unit.
Very very nice. Indoor pool is not heated and there is no hottub.
Not the best place I have stayed at and not the worst place I have stayed at. The condo kinda stunk when you first walked in. Had to open the balcony door a little. One bedroom you could tell someone smoked in it. Smelled like fresh cigarettes. The condo could’ve been cleaned alittle better in my opinion. The counter tops felt dirty. The one bathroom seemed to be clean but again the sink didn’t feel clean. Two of the rooms, closet to the door you could tell it wasn’t remodeled like the master bedroom. The building is nice, with great views of the beach. We only booked here (and went over budget for) because of the indoor pool. Once we arrived, we were greeted by a very grumpy security woman. She was saying that the ashtray outside wasn’t a smoking section it was for people who smoke in their cars to throw their butts away before they come in. Then left a very aggressive note about our parking tag that night saying “long dated and not written in marker.” We changed the date to 8-1-24 instead of August 1 and then received a... read more
The parking security guard was a complete jerk. She made our stay horrible. She deserves to be fired. I hope they take the right precautions to get rid of this lady and if they don’t get rid of her they will loose valuable customers.
