Awful experience at this location this morning. My 17 YO daughter is down in Hilton Head on vacation with her BF and his family. She got a nail in one of her tires. She took it to this location and was told the tire was not repairable and that we needed to get 4 new tires which would be over $2000. When I heard this, I thought this was excessive and I called a local shop in Bluffton that could get us 4 new tires for only $1000. Seems fishy to me that this location would quote 2 teenagers this high amount. Sounds like y'all ... read more
I wanted to lob a very, very positive review of Island Tire and, specifically, the above and beyond efforts by Patrick last week. My car battery died a few blocks away from the shop and Patrick carried over a portable charger and helped me jump it and get it back on the road. Most would have instructed me to call a tow truck but he did not----got up, got out and got going. Great staff, pricing, and expertise.
