I saw my Dr. It was decided that I need an MRI. I was told they would contact me as soon as they got authorization from Medicare. After waiting 2 weeks, and hearing nothing, I called the Dr office. The receptionist stated that the authorization was approved and to call and make an appointment with Diagnostic Imaging. When I called and spoke with Imaging they said there was nothing for me there. I felt well taken care of. The doctors and staff are friendly and supportive.
Great experience from admitting to discharge! Came in for a steroid spinal injection and everyone was amazing! Highly recommend, Dr. Shapiro and all the staff at Island Health radiology department.
My husband and I have had multiple doctors and experienced at Island Health over the past few years. Almost without exception, the staff, care and facilities are top notch.
