3rd time getting the order wrong. And this was my wing special. The taste is good but almost always the order is incomplete or the food is miniscule amounts.
Ordered 2 large Jerk chicken meals for lunch today. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Now I’ve been around the sun long enough to know what freshly cooked chicken tastes like. The jerk chicken that I received today was not fresh it was extremely tough and likely leftover from the day before. I’m done patronizing this business.
When you walk in this place gives you the feel of traditional Caribbean/Jamaican carryout. The beef patties are solid. Coco bread left a lot to be imagined. The jerk chicken taste like it was cooked too fast not low and slow. Flavor was lacking depth. For the value just pass on this place. If you live next-door and have the taste for Jamaican, go for it. If you really just have the taste for some good Jamaican food, there are other options available that might make you happier.
Food is pretty good, but you may be waiting for a while even with an order ahead. So plan accordingly. Usually out of a lot of the patties in the evening.
