I am deeply disappointed by my experience with this surgeon and clinic. I was referred here by my physician for TMJ degeneration confirmed on CT imaging. Despite having a valid medical referral, the clinic initially refused to see me and insisted I first attend a private “TMJ specialist” dentist consultation costing approximately $400 out of pocket. What an excellent experience. The front staff was friendly and proficient, the nurses were great - particularly Debbie, and Dr. Nicholas P was incredible. Their after care protocol was on point, I had very little pain, only mild discomfort. Given the work they had to, it was honestly shocking. Kudos to the entire team.
I just had a conversation with a receptionist here. A friend of mine who doesn’t speak English well, asked me to help him make an appointment to have two of his wisdom teeth removed, which requires oral surgery. He has the Canada dental plan. Apparently, this dental surgery has OPTED OUT of the Canada dental plan, which means they’ve cut off access to low income individuals VOLUNTARILY. Let that sink in.
Just got my wisdom teeth out. The staff were very friendly, they did a great job (I was put under and didn’t feel a thing), and even called me the following day to see if I was okay. Very much recommend, even if it is expensive as all surgeries are.
