Very simple, basic motel-style building. It is on a main road, but don't expect anything romantic or quaint, just clean, budget place. May be even a bit too overpriced for what it is. Will upgrade next time to lodge in the trees.
If you want an absolute top notch experience to destress, unplug, unwind and completely relax, this is the destination. The setting is bliss. Lots of hiking trails and biking trails. The spa takes it to another level. The food is superb with such fresh ingredients. I highly recommend for a Girls trip or couples retreat. You will not be disappointed. totally worth the drive and food was excellent.
I’ve never left a google review before but Island Lake Lodge deserves one!! I spent two nights here for a weekend wedding and it was fantastic - service, food, atmosphere, and views were all spectacular! Would recommend!
