Community manager is an agressive interpreter of all rules and regualtions. Constantly adds new rules and writes up anyone she sunject feels is violating rules. Recently wrote all neighbors muliple supposide violations of said rules. Park looks nice from the entry but not so much once inside. An expensive place to live on a fixed income. No water or trash pickup include except with addional costs. Recently cut back on lawn mantenance only to mow lawns and no triming of sides of units. The park is cutting down 80 of our beautiful trees!!!!! Yes 80. This is what our park is known for and how it is able to ask such high rent fees for. I now we will look like any other park in Clearwater. So disappointing!!! These are the trees in my back yard they are cutting down. Not diseased or dangerous !!!
We were ready to go, checks in hand for the closing. We had our opinion of the office manager, she wanted to see our original social security card. Now I ask you..do YOU carry your card with you ? When she came back saying we didn’t have sufficient income, we knew something was wrong.She copped an attitude with us, and in the middle of trying to figure out the discrepancy, she called Hooters to cater a lunch. The park itself is very nice. BUT we currently have an onsite property manager who has an aggressive, confrontational manner. There are NO people skills when dealing with residents and staff. The manager has caused a number of residents to consider moving solely due to her abusive mannerisms. Friends have been looking to buy in the park but witnessed first hand her obnoxious ways and have reconsidered. It's a shame if the parent company CalAm allows this to continue much longer. The beautiful trees that abound in this community sets it apart from all. Normally in a Mobile Home Park it has been denuded of all Greenery but not at Island In The Sun. Thank you....
We have lived here for approximately four months I cannot say enough about the community it is well kept, there are great people here and always activities going on for people to do. Mary is a wonderful hostess when looking at properties anyone looking should stop by and ask for her she will be more than happy to assist you in looking at homes
