RecommendedIsland Import has been the only place I've taken my cars for the past 8+ years. They are the first and only honest mechanic I have found, and they do quality work!
I have yet to become a customer but i will soon, my car had a flat outside of their shop today and Doug came out and gave me a hand on his own accord. Cannot say enough about how kind he was and so willing to help! Recommend them to anyone who wants a mechanic who clearly cares about their clients and the community! Thanks again!

Hands down, the BEST auto service experience I have ever had! Every detail of service was thoroughly explained, I was given a list of things to keep an eye on, shown problem areas, and totally educated on what my vehicle did and didn't need right now. 5 stars, highly recommend, and I will be a life-long customer!!
Doug and Michelle are the best. I've known them for years and they really know they're stuff. Honesty, integrity, serious expertise in diagnosing and repairing your vehicle.
They are a car owners dream! Not only are they honest, thorough, and intent on fixing the problem the first time, they will warn you of oncoming problems in the future. ALL FOR YOUR SAFETY! Questions? They will take the time to explain (and show) the issues at hand and what will come to pass. They have worked on my 2010 Scion, 1992 Jeep, and 1972 Mercury Comet (all to TOTAL satisfaction)! There is simply no reason to go anywhere else.
I've known Doug for over five years. Every time he does service to my vehicle he explains everything in detail, so that I know what to expect in the future or what I did wrong in the past. He has over 15 year experience in his mechanics. If you are looking for a honest, small business mechanic to support this would be the guy!
