Harold Mead was hired as lead technician. In 2001 Harold bought the business and has proceeded with numerous improvements. Approximately 98% of our customers are repeat customers.

These folks are simply the best in our valley. Very honest, welcoming and always able to explain what my car needs. They provide a clear path for necessary work and scheduling for upcoming or regular maintenance work.
took my 04 bmw 325i to them to get the rear differential changed they did a awesome job and there hourly rate is lower then any one around i highly recommend them thank you again guys
Maggie and Herold helped me to get my 6 years old Porsche spark plugs replaced with reasonable price. Not everyone has the equipment and the will to deal with this kind of car. Herold can take on the challenge to deal with it. It saves me money and time to replaced them at Lynwood. Even though it is tough to get on their schedule, it was worth it to wait for a month. It is a worth-trusty family run auto shop. I will definitely go back if I need any work that needs to be done again.
Harold has worked on a couple of my Mercedes in the past and has always been stellar in his work with solving the issues with my vehicles. He is a straight forward, no nonsense, old school masterful mechanic and is more than fair. A pleasure to work with him every time. I highly recommend Island Import Garage.
