The hotel staff were wonderful. I did not have to worry about our bags or stroller all week. The sites were beautiful and it was right down town so easy to walk anywhere. They had a wheelchair/handicap accessible lift to get up to the porcupine h whi h we used for our stroller which was a bonus. Bike rental out front. Beautiful front porch with rocking chairs to kick back and relax. We did not have dinner here but breakfast was very tasty woth hood service. Charming, (heavily) renovated historic property, offering a very nice experience. Room configurations vary, but mine had a nice bath with shower and newer furnishings. Very nice breakfast, tea, and dinner restaurant with upper tier offerings, including local lake fish varieties. Great cocktail bar. Big front porch and lawn with lounge and rocking chairs overlooking the marina, plus lobby lounge and fireplace for game-playing inside. Overall, light and fresh decor. We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The views from the hotel were beautiful! The location couldn’t have been better as we were close to restaurants, shopping and sights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
