Quick, patient and kind customer service. Employees actually made eye contact and listened. No huge lines or chaos like Life-labs. Helped me answer all the questions I had about my bloodwork and get me an appointment. My Drs office refused to explain when I needed to get my tests done or answer any of my questions so I was quite frustrated having to leave work to drive to the lab just ask when to come in for my tests and was very relieved to not be dismissed again. Thank you for helping me.
Recently, I experienced the scenario at an island health Courtenay clinic where I had a standing appointment booked for 1:00 pm on a midweek day. Despite arriving 10 minutes prior to my scheduled time, I was left waiting in the lobby for an unacceptable 30-45 minutes. What was even more galling was observing the staff, who seemed completely unbothered by the delay, chatting idly amongst themselves about their vacation plans and debating which restaurant served the best lunch takeout.
