Great place to get Hawaiian food!!!! Their huli huli chicken is delicious and i love the student special for it! Unfortunately, the smoke from the kitchen will be overwhelming and will dampen the atmosphere. I would recommend just getting take-out and enjoying your food elsewhere.
I scheduled an order of jerk chicken ahead of time so that I wouldn't have to wait, and they didn't have my food ready until almost an hour after the scheduled time. The jerk chicken wasn't even good. I did like the rice that it came with
***Update: I’ve enjoyed this place in the past but today’s visit was disappointing. The chicken portion seemed a lot smaller than usual. The white container is from today and the black one is from a previous order. Pickup felt pretty rushed too. The server called my name, put the food on the counter and walked away. My wife and I had the oxtails with rice and peas and jerk chicken both were outstanding 👌
Definitely recommend checking out the Jerk Chicken and Oxtail stew. The fried plantains are so yummy and I substitute the apple salad with Mac salad. Only down thing is the restaurant tends to be smokey inside. Other than that the food is yummy and the staff are friendly.
