First time here and it won’t be the last! We had the curry chicken and the brown stew chicken - it was fresh, hot, and tender! The owner was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed.
I came to visit my sister and we went to get some food before we purchased it ask her about the food she said its been a while so maybe it changed but it didn't the food was disgusting my sister order got Jerk salmon and was fishy and tast disgusting it was chewy raw smelling and the gravy if you call it gravy was salty and gross it has fishy taste. This is hands DOWN the best Caribbean resturant I have been to in NC! Native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn and was raised in a predominantly Caribbean migrant community. This resturant will put many of THEM to shame! The food is INCREDIBLE! The service is INSANELY welcoming! The price was high until I actually ATE the food and was like “They could charge MORE and I would not only pay it, I would buy MORE!” I was on a first date and I knocked it out the park because of this place! I enjoy eating at this restaurant. I usually visit once a week. My only recommendation is $18 for a medium-size plate of jerk chicken plate is a bit high. They are the only Caribbean restaurant in town, so I guess they charge a premium.
Great food. The food was excellent. Tender, tasty curry chicken. Rice was real good. This the spot. Service was friendly and professional......
