I think that Dr Brown is very skilled.What I have experienced repeatedly with this office is that you wait an hour or more. For my last appointment I asked if I could check in closer to the actual time that the doctor would be available to see me. I explained that I was using a wheelchair and sitting for any length of time is very painful. .I was told that it was a very busy afternoon and that patients should expect to wait 2 to 3 hours and despite my situation and the fact that I could be there within 15 minutes of notifica... read more

I have been going to Island Eye for over 15 years and have had consistently good results. No long waits in the office and great eye care fron Dr. Ellis.

Dr Brown and her staff are always courteous and professional. I have every confidence in the care she gives me. I also receive the same treatment from Sam when I purchase new glasses from Island Eye.

I’ve been going to Dr. Linda Brown here for a few years, and have always had wonderful care. During my most recent eye exam, she diagnosed my cataracts as getting worse from my previous exam. This was not surprising, because I felt my vision was detiorating. We then decided to proceed with cataract removal. Dr. Kenneth Ellis performed my surgeries and I couldn’t be happier. He was kind and professional during my entire experience. I highly recommend Island Eye Physicians and Surgeons

Dr Ellis and the anesthesiologist were wonderful with my 93 year old grandfather during his surgery . All the staff were excellent for his care and any concerns we had .
