There is some kind of scam going on with this company. We rented a house on Marco through VRBO with Island Escapes listed as the property mgmt company. Rental is for June and they billed my credit card in March for the final payment. I had some questions and they would not return msgs or phone calls. Do not rent from this company. They owe us money from our last rental in February and have not paid. They are a terrible company and I am pretty sure they are going out of business. You will get dumped with your rental and if they are your rental company then good luck getting your money. I am sure they will take a boat load of money from their customers and not pay them and then take 3-4 months off and open a new company under a different name and run the same scam. Worst experience as a home owner renting our property. Too many issues to list here. Do not use this company at all.
Please do not rent through this company. We have rented through them for the past 3 years but they seemed to have closed shop and stole both renters money, cleaners and rental property owed to the owners. I’m lucky I received a call yesterday before flying down from the actual home owner saying that island escape owner David has skipped town and he owes them a lot of money and I would need to find a new place. Island Escapes owner has shut Island Escapes down. If you are an owner that has not gotten paid, or your cleaner has quit because they haven't gotten paid or your tenant has walked into a filthy rental home. It is because the owner of Island Escapes has embezzled the owners money. David currently is hiding out because of his crimes and continues to dafermate his workers to owners and the community and blames his employees for his crimes and he does not have any proof of such impostures acts.
