The clerks are not well educated and speak to fast about stuff they have no idea about
We applied for the Senior Citizen and People with Disabilities Exemption 33 weeks ago and they cannot tell us if or when our application will be processed. Now they expect us to pay the full amount due (without the exemption) for the second time since April. I have called repeatedly and always get the same tired excuse. Is anyone actually working at this office?
The people at the Assessor's office are very efficient, helpful and professional. Every issue or question we have over the last 5 decades has been handled on the phone or in person promptly and the entire staff is very helpful. We appreciate the work they do in helping Island County residents.
