Where do I even begin. Staying here felt like staying at your family’s vacation house on the beach, on the Gulf side of the Florida Keys. Anna was the property manager on site for most of our trip, and she was so kind and accommodating. The rooms were pristine. The beds were soft, kitchenette was perfect. We grilled one night. The beach was so quiet and the paddle boards/kayaks were easy to retrieve and use. They also have corn hole and bocce ball on site so it’s hard to not have a good time. We didn’t want to leave!
We say 5 stars not because it's a 5 star hotel but because it's a 5 star experience The rooms were clean. The grounds were immaculate. The staff was super friendly and helpful. They’re quaint little cute cottages.. If you need the Ritz Carlton experience this is not going to be your place but if you want somewhere comfortable and quaint and clean and unique peaceful and has tried to think of every little detail to give you an island feel and tropical back drop you will never want to leave we loved it we stayed 2 nights in ro... read more
Such a peaceful, beautiful resort. We had a lovely stay where we were able to enjoy the beach, paddle boarding, and exploring the towns of Islamorada and key largo. The resort was so clean, very peaceful, and such kind staff.
We really enjoyed our short stay at Island Bay Resort. My only suggestion would be for people to research and understand what you are booking. This is a small resort. But very well kept, clean, and peaceful. Rooms, small (we knew this before booking) but clean and stocked with basic needs. Heard no noise at night. We were in the Key West suite, farthest from the road. Service, staff was welcoming. They checked in with us during our stay without being intrusive.
