This was our first trip to Key Largo and we are so happy we stayed here! We brought our inlaws and it was so nice to be able to roll out of our cottages onto clean, well-kept grounds and beach area! My father in law has a little trouble getting around so it was nice to be able to be on a beach within a few feet! Steve and Sue were perfect hosts, Mya too! The cottages are perfect and we saw about 8 different firework shows from the pier on the 4th. Can't recommend this place enough. We will definitely be back!
First time at Island Bay Resort and it won’t be our last! Ten adorable cottages, and we had the good fortune to have the one closest to the water! The cottage was spotless, the grounds immaculate! We had our own patio, and a grill. The resort provides lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a wide variety of kayaks, paddle boards, etc. My husband caught fish on the dock and we enjoyed our time relaxing on the beach, and watching the most amazing sunsets! A hidden slice of paradise! My husband and I spent a week here, and from booking to (sadly) departure, the entire experience was wonderful. I’ll admit I was a little nervous beforehand, it almost seemed too good to be true, but it far exceeded our expectations. The owners and staff are incredibly kind, and the resort itself is one of the cleanest and best-maintained places we’ve ever stayed. We loved our stay here! My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and we loved every second of it! The owners were amazing always checking on everyone and everything! When they found out it was our honeymoon they decorated our cottage and made sure everything was perfect! The grounds were always kept up the sand was raked every morning and the rooms were amazing!!! It really was a little paradise! We will definitely stay here everytime we come down!!
