I am from out of town and had a scare with my little dog Rascal. The staff were able to squeeze us in and get some X-rays done (everything turned out fine!). Everyone here was so friendly and accommodating, and went above and beyond to help me find a ride back to Little Current (we arrived by sailboat). Kudos and a huge thank you to this practice and their team of great, caring, compassionate people. Rascal is now back at the boat napping after his adventurous day.
Camping trip cut short! We can never thank Island Animal Hospital enough for what they did for our little Bean after a traumatic dog attack. They were incredibly busy that day, yet they still made room for us and treated us like family from the moment we walked through the door. I understand that they can’t always accommodate non-patients, and unfortunately they can’t help everyone in every situation. My old girl needed some medicine and a check up. Blood work and urine sample. The service was top notch. Kind and thoughtful with my fur baby. Took the time to explain thoroughly what was going on. I would say the best veterinarian on the island. Price very reasonable. Plus they trimmed her nails. We are very happy
All I can say is that I have had a wonderful experience visiting this clinic in Mindemoya. They went out of their way to get tick and heartworm medication for my standard poodle. They liaised with my dogs clinc in London and helped us out . A few days later I went without an appointment and we were accommodated. My dog had tried to climb out of the partially closed truck window and he had got stuck. He was dangling upside down.
