I met with Dr. Islam between 2009 & 2013. He was great-his treatment was helpful & assisted me with my goals of functioning in my job while coping with the chronic stress of highly interdisciplinary research. I was working in a lab I really liked (at a good school) when I was his patient, but regardless, the work itself was challenging (especially given that I had switched fields some and found a good fit rather late in life). He tried to cure my PTSD and Anxiety with $35 glucose, at least 5 cups of juice a day and not even enough actual medicine to cover a 30 day span. When I told him that it wasn't working, 3 months in to this plan, he got frustrated with me and told me I wasn't doing it right. After my last appointment, with his secretary and not even him, I purposefully did not sched. another app. with him, but was billed for one anyway. My insurance provider has urged me not to see him again.
