Katie is wonderful. I had not had a professional haircut in 9 years and had been doing my best cutting it myself. As a curly girl, I’ve had some haircut nightmares, so I came in pretty nervous. Katie was kind, understanding, patient, and confident. She is very knowledgeable, skilled, and talented. She asked great questions, really listened, and even cut my hair in steps to help me feel more comfortable throughout the process. I cannot wait to go see Katie again!!! She had the best ideas and creative solutions for what I felt were issues for me that I’ve been struggling with (various hairdressers and products) the past 5-8 years, and now I LOVE my hair!!! I didn’t think it was possible at 58! THANK YOU Katy!

I flew in for vacation from Alaska and googled “curly hair cuts on Maui” and took a chance on Katie. She was fantastic!!! She truly understood curly hair and was worth every penny. I cried. So nice to not live with my hair in a bun 24/7.

I love Isla James Salon! I have seen Peggy for years. She is always so sweet, attentive, and is a master stylist! Every time I leave the salon, I feel refreshed and fabulous!
