First time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed the experience! It’s a beautifully designed spot, and the service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. They have kangaroo on the menu, but we opted for something more classic. My brick pressed chicken was spot-on, and my husband loved the flavor of his curry cod (even if the sauce was a little overwhelming). For dessert, the sticky date pudding was delicious, just a bit heavy on the butterscotch sauce. Minor sauce notes aside, the food quality and atmosphere were great.
Fantastic addition to the Lower East Side! The massive open windows looking out on Allen Street give the space a seamless indoor-outdoor feel. Outside of one small hiccup, we had a stellar meal. Lamb Ragout: Incredibly rich, meaty, and packed with flavor. My only wish? A server coming around with a grater of fresh Parm or Locatelli!
