Definitely rough around the edges. Server was very sweet but obviously didn’t have much experience. The other servers all seemed very young and a little lost. I heard the owner/sushi maker yelling at the servers who all seemed like high school kids multiple times throughout my meal. The shrimp tempura udon broth was almost sickly sweet, I ate only a few bites. The shrimp itself was 60% batter and had no flavor. The salmon on my double salmon roll tasted fresh and good however. FANTASTIC!!! First timer here. Just happened to stop by this area for something else. Thought I would check it out, and grab take-out. I will say I don't usually leave reviews unless asked... But I went outta my way to make this one. I also was sad when Taste of Asia closed, and the only sushi on that strip was Koger and Albertsons... BUT!!! This place was awesome! Super friendly staff. Ownership, management, and food, are all excellent. KAYLA SUCKS! totally oblivious, stumbling around making empty promises about refilling drinks and general service. Unaware of empty glasses she’s already promised to refill twice. Also doesn’t notice the small things like my credit card hanging off the table after we already requested the check.. outside of that, she barked at the owner trying to help her catch up by speaking to everyone and refilling water glasses.
