Ise Japanese Restaurant is pretty good Well, I wasn't completely happy with this place. I've had better Japanese food, that's for sure. The restaurant didn't have many people in there at the dinner hour either. They had lot's of little dishes and I neve did feel like I had enough to eat, especially for the price. The servers could have been a little nicer too. I don't think I would come back here.
Really Great Sushi at a Good Price – I don't know where the other reviewers went but it was NOT ISE in Yorba Linda. This is a great little family owned restaurant in Placentia/Yorba Linda that has really great sushi at a good price. The service is great and the food is better than the service. Eat Here! Ise has a great combination of delicious and affordable Japanese food. I have tried and loved many of their menu items: Udon soup, tempura, sushi, Japanese curry, and teriyaki. They have great dinner deals if you eat before 7:00 that include salad, miso soup, tempura, and beef or chicken teriyaki. My favorite things there are the seaweed salad, spicy tuna handroll, and the super tender and lean beef teriyaki. You must try this place!
This is a great Restaurant if you want to try Sushi for the first time or for the novice. The lunch special gives you soup salad rice tempura chicken and California roll. A lot of food for a minimal cost. I have tried the managers special (chefs special) great sushi variety plate. Highly recommend if going for lunch get there early this place gets packed.
I also will never go back there. Very disappointed. – I don't eat meat or dairy, both make me very sick. After asking if one the items on the menu had animal products I was given a strange look (fair enough I'm used to his) and it took some convincing to get the waiter to go ask the chef. The bar was too brightly light and the service was terrible, the chef's were so drunk they were yelling and laughing rather than serving. We asked for our check after being mostly ignored for an hour. 35 minutes later we asked for our check again and the chef brought out 5 orders of yellowtail collar for our party of 8 that we did not order. When the bill for my boyfriend and I finally came another 20 minutes later it had all the "extras" they had served us on it, including drinks no one in our party ordered so sushi for two... read more
