I have been working for iScribes since February 25, 2019. I am a military spouse and veteran. I stay at home with my kids and this job has provided me the opportunity to bring income into our family. The training is challenging and the job is not easy, but what job is truly easy? When I work, I feel like I am doing meaningful tasks versus mind-numbing key punching. I have to agree with Pam. It is really hard work to sit and type as fast as you can for 4 hours straight. I have no idea how anyone can do this job full time. The pay is definitely too low and I feel strongly that if you have are literate, fast, and understand medical terms, you should be paid at least $12 an hour. I predict some failings in this industry and maybe they are just using us until everything goes towards dictating in recorders. So sad...

I went through the "virtual training" for a position with this company and the only thing I will say is you would be better off working at McDonalds! They expect you to provide $20.00/hr work for their bargain price of $8.50/hr. They should really be very ashamed of how little they are willing to pay for very complicated, challenging work.
