I’ve been a customer of Isabella’s for YEARS - way before the franchise expansion. But the donuts at this location are consistently stale. Hugely disappointing, and a poor representation of the brand. Five bucks for a stale donut is absolutely not acceptable.
Creative flavours done well. Tried the lychee lemonade and the profile/balance achieved was a refreshing sweet flavour. Neither too tart or sweet! I also enjoyed the curry bun (the lotus root is a nice touch) and the halohalo bun. Edit: forgot to mention that their indoor seating is quite comfortable and generous (extends to back with board games available). Id love to come back again if I find myself in the area 🥳
The staff working today showed zero respect for customers. My wife and newborn baby were left waiting for 20 minutes just to buy some donuts, all because the guy working was too busy joking around and chatting with his friends. He completely ignored her until she finally had to leave the store empty-handed after the long wait. Leaving a mother with a newborn waiting around while you socialize on the job is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable. Uncool and absolutely unacceptable.
Stopped by for a sweet treat. The staff member was very polite! Tried a green tea mochi donut and the maple glaze. Green tea one was great. Maple glaze didn’t really taste like anything and felt pretty stale. At about $4-5 per donut, it is a bit pricey in my opinion for what you get.
Ordered iced matcha mango latte and hot matcha latte. I was looking forward to it since the mango puree is made in house. Mango pieces were too chunky, and lacked flavour. Latte felt watered down, not as creamy. It felt like the person making it wasn't sure how to make it, took a long time. Place has a good atmosphere and menu looks great - wish it tasted better, lacks quality. Parking limited, street parking, busy road.
