We saw the menu. Drove 1.5 hours to meet family. Got there and the prices were DOUBLED on a limited, fixed menu created for the college graduation weekend that was not mentioned when the reservation was made. Desserts were limited and ungarnished. Food was good but doesn’t matter.
Outstanding dinner that totally exceeded expectations. Everyone in my party had a great meal. I was blown away by a blackened sea bass fradiavlo dish. Perfecto. Nice wine. Comfortable, attractive place. I intend to dine there again when I am back in the area.
We had a somewhat mixed experience. They were hosting a large wedding earlier in the afternoon, but once things wrapped up they were able to seat us, which we appreciated. The building itself is beautiful and our server was excellent. The food, however, was fairly mediocre. The salad was simply lettuce with dressing and nothing else. The crab cakes were mostly filler, and while the salmon diablo pasta had good flavor, the salmon itself was overcooked. On the positive side, the limoncello cake was very good.
An amazing place with delicious food and a nice quiet atmosphere!
