The water line to my house was installed 4 years ago on a new build. It failed this week, and when the repair was done it was noted that original install was too shallow ( only 8-10" deep instead of 18"). The material was flimsy (PVC?) and there were multiple junctions, when it should have been a single run from box to house. Very shoddy work.
