I've been getting my hair cut by Jon for 10+ years. I live in the burbs and make the drive out to Irving Park just to get a cut. When you're waiting for a cut the Barber Shop doesn't feel like you're in line. You have a beer, hang out, listen to good tunes, and shoot the shit with the entire shop. I've always gotten a good laugh from going to Irving Park Barbershop and I'll continue to go for the rest of my life.

“Sure, I’ll babysit a stranger’s kids while they go for a beer next door” was the comment it got when I took my two boys there for a haircut and told the person working there I’ll be next door. I don’t consider giving a haircut and getting paid for it babysitting. Cuts were okay. Nothing special. The douch that runs the place needs an attitude readjustment.

The barbers are some of the most supportive and caring people. They truly care about there craft and I am always able to speak freely about my thoughts, my concerns with society and they genuinely take part in the discussion. THEY EVEN HAVE A DOG!!!!! Just go get ya hair cut. [They are cash only fyi...] Their is a chase bank 4 min walk away down Lincoln Avenue and a 5/3rd bank next door as well as an ATM i. The bar next door; so don't worry about the cash.
