This is the second year in a row that the school photos IS have taken of my son are unusable— last year, mid sneeze, eyes half closed etc, this year pure grimace. I do appreciate that their staff got back to me about these concerns, though they confirmed that staff photographers see each photo of a child in real-time and take shots until they are satisfied with their work (meaning: they are aware of how bad they are). Last year's photos came out great. This year, not so much. I believe a professional photographer should've looked at the photo and understood a retake was necessary. I waited for two weeks, excited to buy some photos and now, my husband and I don't even want to buy it because our kid wasn't looking or was in between faces. So unfortunate.
