I am trying to learn guitar for the third time having used YouTube before. I signed up with Sam a month ago for 30 minute sessions. Through Sam’s organized training and positive reinforcement I have become knowledgeable with chords and practice activities to help me overcome difficulty with finger placement and strength. I have increased my sessions to one hour as a result of my confidence and improvement. I strongly suggest Sam Irvin as a knowledgeable and well trained instructor. You will be successful in learning guitar.
We had an evening spring gala this past week. Sam Irvin came and played ambient, background guitar for our donor dinner. He was incredibly perfect. The pieces that he chose were warm, not overpowering, and beautifully played. He is very professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Sam for your event and we will definitely be calling on him again!

Sam has been teaching guitar to our oldest son for over a year now, and not only has he made great progress, but he's also having a lot of fun. We've enjoyed working with Sam so much that we signed up our other son for piano lessons, and both of them look forward to their lessons each week. Sam is patient, encouraging, flexible, and does a great job tailoring his teaching style to each child’s interests and ability level. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a skilled and engaging music teacher.
