I know, who leaves reviews for the IRS. Well, I am today. I am very thankful that they have programs to help individuals pay off their taxes with a simple process available online. Set up your account, log-in, see what amount you owe, make a payment plan if you are allowed, pick the date you would like to make the payment, and they will tell you what that monthly rate will be and when to start. Super hard to get ahold of anybody its ridiculous.
Absolutely the worst automated system. You literally cant get a HUMAN. My money should he just as important to you as it is me.
I spent four hours on hold, was disconnected three separate times and they DO NOT CALL BACK. This system is predetory and they have zero incentive to actually be of assistance. The procedures are made difficult by design so they can keep charging interest and blocking you from resolving ANYTHING.
