We had an unforeseen event happen to our stay that Ironworks by Standuke was able to accommodate without any problems. Excellent customer service. We hope to stay there in the future.
The rooms are so dam spacious for the money try it out!
There are plenty of close restaurants to walk to. Close to the convention center, casino, and Riverwalk. If you are a light sleeper you may struggle it can be pretty loud at night, but it is New Orleans. Some parking but not much. Secure access which is a plus. The bedrooms didn't have TVs which is a bit odd for modern hotels. A couple of items were broken in the room like a door handle to go into the bathroom and the shower curtain although still attached to the walls was broken.
We stayed here in a 1 bed 1 bath, in room 301, for 4 nights. I really like this place. Most of the chain hotels, even the nice ones, have beds that are uncomfortable and the ambience is boring in most cases. And Im very picky in terms of beds. Room 301 has a very comfortable king size bed. The king size bed is kinda like a memory foam bed, but not really. Im a big fan of the bed. The bedding is nice as well. What a terrible company. They sold us a room that had been clearly leaking in the ceiling for some time. To make it worse, it was a leak from the bathroom above us. The paint was peeling off the ceiling and the walls from the water damage. You can clearly see this in the video attached. What amazed me the most was the lack of concern or care from the hotel.
