As soon as I walked into the coffee shop, the assistant manager spoke to me very rudely and told me to leave without giving any explanation. When I asked why, he finally said there was a private event. I pointed out that there was no signage anywhere indicating the shop was closed, and instead of communicating clearly, he became even more dismissive. Love Ironside! Great food and drinks, and the atmosphere can't be beat. My go to for downtown Newark. Also, the employees are so friendly!
