I know a lot of people that have gotten tattoos by JD, i when into his shop a few weeks ago with my girl to get some work done, her previous experience with him had been good, altho she had never gotten work from him her bff had. When i went into the shop with her he approached me as if to say "What are you doing here!" well I have a tattoo that JD did 4 years ago and out of all of my tats this one by far looks the worst most of the other ones are older and look so much better than the ones he did. a couple Ive had others go over them just to improve the appearance of them, the one I hate the most needs to be covered up I am really embaresed of it. Im not saying this because I hate JD or anything I just wish I would have known that over time and it don't take long his tats look like crap.

Irongate Tattooing is a superb shop and, in my opinion, the very best tattoo shop in Chico, CA. The staff is very warm and friendly, and the artist is superb. I can't speak highly enough about this shop, and I know that anyone who walks into and uses this shop will not be disappointed in any way. I have been to many tattoo shops in other cities over the past few decades, and I can attest to the fact that Irongate Tattooing is the best of them.
