Best burnt ends of MY LIFE. HOT DAMN ERIC. Road tripping and came across this culinary phenomenon in Mulvane. Who cares about Kansas City bbq, go get better meat in Mulvane. Eric is a legend and I hope he continues to expand. GET THIS GUY ON DDD!!!
You don't see many places with a perfect 5 star rating unless they only have a handful of reviews but I can tell you that this one is not only true but well deserved! We had tickets to see a show at the casino in Mulvane so I googled what was near by to get a bite to eat and Iron Jacket showed up. I read some reviews and instantly knew I had to give it try. A picture is worth 1,000 words, but the brisket here will leave you speechless. Nowhere near Wichita will you find brisket that is cooked with so much love, care, and most importantly- FLAVOR. It’s been awesome to find such a great BBQ place so close to home! Best brisket I’ve found in Kansas! And as a former Texan…believe me, I’ve searched! Eric know his way around a smoker and from the brisket & pulled pork to the smoked Mac & cheese & hash, everything is so fresh and full of flavor! I can not recommend this place enough!!
Please take the five minute drive off of I-35 to go experience the best barbecue in Kansas, maybe the BEST in the central states! This little dive is open Thursdays and Saturdays.
