Stood at front desk for 15 mins attempting to check in I could have just walked in and started lifting no workers to be found nobody to contact by number or in the building won’t be back
I appreciate the Christian values. I enjoy the new location and new equipment. Many back day options. Legs are gonna get crushed too.
I miss the 2022 vibes. Loud uncensored music, almost empty at midnight, only hard workers with sound advice to be found... it made me fall in love with lifting. Now it's a lot of egotistical frat boys with tripods. Reminiscent of the old genesis crowd. Lowkey kinda lame. Still my favorite gym, but man has the vibe changed.
Unfortunately after 4 years I'm giving up on this gym. When i got injured in the army I got discharged and started going here, it felt like home. It was dirty broken and the toilets rarely worked. I liked the brokenness it healed me. Now it feels comercalized with wannabe influencers. It's not my home anymore. Its not my gym anymore
