I miss the 2022 vibes. Loud uncensored music, almost empty at midnight, only hard workers with sound advice to be found... it made me fall in love with lifting. Now it's a lot of egotistical frat boys with tripods. Reminiscent of the old genesis crowd. Lowkey kinda lame. Still my favorite gym, but man has the vibe changed.
Unfortunately after 4 years I'm giving up on this gym. When i got injured in the army I got discharged and started going here, it felt like home. It was dirty broken and the toilets rarely worked. I liked the brokenness it healed me. Now it feels comercalized with wannabe influencers. It's not my home anymore. Its not my gym anymore
I travel to Omaha several times a year and have struggled to find a solid place for myself and team to continue our strength progress. Enter Iron Heaven, with a fair day pass price, clean location, and a great mix of equipment and stations. Noah, one of the GM was quick to respond to messages and a great help.
