I really appreciate how personalized the fitness experience is at Iron Health. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and most importantly - responsive. The workouts are also appropriate and fun. After a full year of hospital-based physical therapy (prescribed for shoulder replacement surgery) I could barely raise my arm. Three months of PT and fitness training at Iron Health and I am nearly back to normal…and I’m swimming again! This is the best gym in the area!
I have been going to Iron Health in Peekskill for the last two months. I have a rotator cuff tear, and my therapy has been under Dr. Fernando! He has been so patient with me and teaching me how to work out through gentle therapy for my arm. I really appreciate him! And the staff are great. Especially Rachel with her smile and greeting. And Rich always asking how I am feeling!!
Great place for individual attention. Very well equipped studio. Rich at the reception desk is very accommodating to make appointments. Fernando the PT is knowledgeable on what you need to work on to get back to good health. I look forward to my treatments.
I've been working with Fernando for the last month or so to alleviate pain from plantar fasciitis and a heel spur, combined with Achilles tendinitis. He is absolutely wonderful--extremely knowledgeable, supportive and compassionate. I'm seeing a vast improvement already. I came in limping and thinking that my days of running and hiking could be over, but he's helping me believe that I'll be able to return to the activities I love.
