DO NOT RECOMMEND. This place makes Center Point Local Businesses look bad. Called and asked for price for a repair. The guy on the phone, asked for First and Last Name, and I gave him my first name and only need to know how much to replace a part on my wife car. Since I did not give him my last name, the guy then says our system is down and just hangs up phone??? Not good for a first time caller to the local business. I would not recommend at all with that type of first impression.
On Friday, July 12, I dropped off my car at Metro 1 Centerpoint. They informed me that they would fix the issue with the signal switch electrical connector. When I called the next day, no one answered the phone. I had to wait until Monday to call because they are closed on Sundays, and was then informed that a new part was needed. Only use Iron City for minor repairs and maintenance. October 2023, I had my truck towed to Iron City. I was advised that I needed a harmonic balancer. They replaced the harmonic balancer($800) and the truck still wouldn't drive. I was then advised that I need an accelerator pedal. The accelerator pedal was installed at a dealership and was still under warranty so I had the truck towed to the dealership just to be told that I actually needed a transmission.
